AGAIN? Another Federal Judge Blocks Elon Musk

Gavel in judge's hand about to strike.

(DCWatchdog.com) – MAGA patriots are outraged after an activist Obama-appointed federal judge followed in her colleagues’ footsteps to obstruct President Donald Trump’s agenda.

Specifically, U.S. District Judge Ellen Hollander stopped Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from accessing Social Security Administration data that could expose waste and fraud.

The Maryland federal judge ordered a temporary halt to DOGE’s access to Social Security Administration systems

Appointed by Obama in 2010, Hollander described DOGE’s actions as a “fishing expedition” despite the well-documented history of fraud and waste within government entitlement programs.

The ruling forces DOGE to destroy any non-anonymized data already obtained and prohibits the installation or modification of software in SSA systems.

This judicial overreach comes after DOGE staffers entered the SSA shortly following President Trump’s inauguration as part of his promises to cut government waste and inefficiency.

The administration established DOGE with Musk at the helm to identify bloated programs and rampant fraud that drain American taxpayer resources.

This effort has faced constant resistance from entrenched bureaucrats and left-leaning judges determined to maintain the status quo.

Hollander criticized the Trump administration for not providing what she considered an adequate explanation for DOGE’s need to access SSA data.

DOGE has previously accessed databases at the Treasury Department and IRS as part of its thorough effort to fulfill the president’s promise to make government more efficient.

“The DOGE Team is essentially engaged in a fishing expedition at SSA, in search of a fraud epidemic, based on little more than suspicion,” stated Hollander.

Two labor unions and a left-wing advocacy group initiated the lawsuit that led to this ruling, showing once again how special interests are working to block President Trump’s agenda.

Under the judge’s order, DOGE may only regain access to sensitive data after completing court-mandated training and providing detailed explanations for why non-anonymized data is necessary.

This creates additional bureaucratic hurdles for a team specifically designed to cut through government red tape and inefficiency.

“But, that does not mean that the government can flout the law to do so,” Judge Hollander stated in her ruling, ironically blocking the very team tasked with ensuring the government follows proper fiscal responsibility.

This is not the first time liberal judges have interfered with DOGE’s mission.

Another federal judge previously challenged Musk and DOGE when they attempted to shut down the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

Many conservatives have criticized the agency for funding overseas projects while American infrastructure crumbles.

These judicial roadblocks highlight the deep state’s determination to prevent meaningful government reform.

While activist judges may temporarily impede progress, the administration remains committed to fighting for taxpayers and ensuring government accountability.
